Privacy policy
Draft for launch. Have it reviewed by a Nigerian lawyer for compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 before going live.
GridSense is operated by OFAMGREEN. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
What we collect
- Your phone number, used to sign you in with a one-time code.
- Your name, city, area and, if you choose, your address, DisCo and meter number.
- How you get power (grid, generator, solar, gas), meter readings, gas refill dates and the spending you log. These stay private to you.
- Fuel and gas prices you report. Others only see them as a typical price for a city or state.
- Solar check answers (appliances, budget) and the reports we create from them.
- Details of your solar system, quote requests, and messages you exchange with installers.
- Light reports you submit. Other people only ever see them as anonymous counts for an area.
Why we use it
- To run the service you asked for: light and units alerts, price information, sizing, connecting you to installers, and documents.
- To share your request with the installer you choose, and only that installer.
- To keep the platform safe, prevent fraud and improve GridSense.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. Your public passport page shows only your first name and initial, your area, your DisCo, the last four digits of your meter and your solar system, and only when you share its link.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time. Contact us at privacy@ofamgreen.com (replace with your real address).
Storage
Data is stored with our hosting provider (Supabase) with encryption in transit and access controls on every table.
